Doug Fields

DYM Co-founder

Doug Fields is currently the Youth Pastor at Mariners Church in So. CA and most well known for his longevity and influence in the youth ministry (30+ years as a youth pastor) and for writing the award-winning Purpose Driven Youth Ministry—which is a youth ministry textbook translated in over 20 languages and used all over the world. He’s the author of 60+ books, including Your First 2 Years in Youth Ministry and Speaking To Teenagers. He’s the co-founder of DownloadYouthMinistry.com where he currently helps lead YMUniversity.com and the National Day of Volunteer Youth Ministry Training (trainmyvolunteers.com).

Albert Tate

Albert Tate is the co-founder and lead pastor of Fellowship Church. Albert is a gifted and dynamic communicator who is passionate about sharing the Gospel of Jesus Christ with the local and global church and is a featured speaker a the Global Leadership Summit. His unique style combines humor and storytelling, inspiration and conviction, grace and truth; congregations and audiences of all ages are engaged in the Word of God in compelling ways.

Yulee Lee, Ph.D

Fuller Youth Institute - Chicago, IL

Yulee Lee is the Senior Director of Staff and Partnerships at the Fuller Youth Institute (FYI), where she oversees the leadership development of staff, develops team culture and office systems, helps build strategic partnerships,and facilitates trainings. Yulee, originally from South Korea, grew up in Salt Lake City skiing and snowboarding on the mountains. She holds a BA in Political Science from Tufts University, a MA in Public Policy from the University of Chicago, and a PhD in Educational Studies with a concentration in Organizational Leadership from Trinity Evangelical Divinity School. She has served the local church for 12+ years in the areas of revitalization and innovation, worked in government on the local and national levels, and directed strategy for service learning in higher education while also teaching on the topics of organizational and change leadership. Ultimately, Yulee is passionate about collaborating for change in systems to reflect greater human dignity and flourishing for the vulnerable. In her free time, Yulee finds her happy place in any medium where she can nurture her creative and artistic sides. Yulee and her family reside in Chicago, IL. where she volunteers in her church’s youth ministry, and also parents a 16 year old teenager named Dylan!

Josh Griffin

Josh Griffin is known as one of the leading voices in youth ministry with over 20 years’ experience in the trenches and currently the junior high pastor at Mariners Church in So CA. Previously, he spent 10 years as the High School Pastor at Saddleback Church and the leader of the PDYM global movement. He has created more than 50 youth ministry resources and authored several books. He's also the co-founder of DownloadYouthMinistry.com where he currently helps lead YMUniversity and the National Day of Volunteer Youth Ministry Training (trainmyvolunteers.com).

Theo Davis

Restore Community Church - Kansas City, MO

Theo Davis serves as the Multi-Site Youth Pastor & Digital Pastor at Restore Community Church in Kansas City, Missouri. He has worked in youth ministry for 16 years in a variety of settings which include church plants, rural churches, mega-churches, and youth homeless shelters on the East Coast and in the Midwest. He received his degree in Youth Ministry from Eastern University and has continued to leverage his education with real-world experience. He and his wife Malia are huge gamers and named their kids after video game characters — Zelda & Shepherd (from The Legend of Zelda and the Mass Effect Series). Theo also loves action figures and spends his spare time developing his musical and visual art talents.

Jessica Sanchez

Mark Oestreicher

The Youth Cartel - San Diego ,CA

Mark Oestreicher has been involved in church ministry for 40 years, particularly with teenagers and youth workers. Marko has had a broad experience working in churches in roles ranging from Junior High Pastor to Executive Pastor. For 11 years, Marko was at Youth Specialties in San Diego, an organization that trains and equips church youth workers—the last 8 of those years as president. Marko has authored or contributed to more than 70 books. Marko is the founding partner at The Youth Cartel, providing resources, training and coaching for church youth workers. Marko has been married to Jeannie for 35 years, and has two young adult kids, Riley and Max.

Heather Flies

Wooddale Church - Eden Prairie, MN

Heather Flies is the Junior High Pastor at Wooddale Church in Eden Prairie, MN. She began her ministry at Wooddale when she joined the staff as the Junior High Associate in 1996. In 1998, she joined the pastoral staff. Outside the walls of Wooddale Church, Heather spends a great deal of time as a communicator. She is invited into local junior and senior high schools to present on a variety of topics, like self-esteem and abstinence. Heather also brings truth, hope and fun to students at various camps, seminars and retreats locally and across the nation. To get her adult fix, she also speaks to parents and youth workers.

Training Topics
